Tim
recalls how a chance meeting
with accomplished Photographer
Doug Steley
in 2005 and subsequent fishing
expeditions with Doug led Tim
down the path of professional
photography.Dabbling in photography
on and off most of his life,
Tim
is no stranger to a camera.
His experience with digital
photography dates back to Kodak’s
first digital camera, a 320
pixel black and white camera
with no LCD screen only a viewfinder!
It
was on a fishing expedition
with Doug that Tim first handled
a Digital SLR (single lens reflex)
camera. The story goes.…..
Doug catching his first ever
tuna hands Tim his camera to
take pictures of him and Tim
Williams takes his first ever
picture on a Nikon D70.
“Four
shutter releases later and I
was hooked.”

Tim
laments not being unable to
fish all of the time, but admits
this gives him the time to pursue
his other passion - Photography.
Tim has a particular flair for
Nature photography more particularly
Macro/Micro nature photography.
Seeing insects and other creatures
that are very small in real
life become larger than life
on screen or in amazing full
colour print is something that
connects with each and every
one of us in our own way.
“Being able to see all
of the tiny little parts of
them including their amazing
colours is a real buzz.”

Williams
Tim truly loves photography
and that is conveyed through
the uniqueness of his images.
It is hoped that you’ll
enjoy this site and Tim’s
pictures and that perhaps you
might even buy a few. Thanks
for taking the time to stop
by and have a look.
Until I get there I am going
to keep clicking away and enjoying
every bit, even if I get a little
frustrated every now and then………Tim
